Hey girls welcome to our new blog!!! I'm still trying to figure this out, and since I have my own personal one, things are showing up on both so I'm trying to figure out how to keep things separate...if any of you are expert bloggers let me know:D Anyway, as for Summer Practices, they start Monday, June 25th from 1pm-3pm in the mini gym. Wednesdays practice is cancelled. I sent out a mass e-mail to everyone with our updated contact list and the summer practice rules, but I'll briefly explain it again. If you can't make it to the ENTIRE summer practice schedule, then NO CAMP FOR YOU, as well as having to sit out our first game. Sorry, but we discussed the best and most fair way and thought that worked out best for all of us. It was either that or off the squad:( and we don't want that! Also, there was a mix up as far as summer registrations and you guys WILL NEED to register and pay for the cheer class, it will be credited. Because of pressed time you will need to be registered and paid for by the following Monday. I will be giving all of you the Blue registration slip at Mondays practice. Camps coming up quick, hope you all are excited! Make sure you are stretching, jumping, and tumbling or else Mondays practice will kick your butt! Let me know if you have any questions!!! I hope you all like the blog idea, and that it will be as affective for all of us as I plan on it being!!!

Hi Taryn and Mele!
My name is Kelsey Boling and I am a senior at Morenci High School. I am attending MCC next year and am inquiring about your cheerleading squad. I have been a varsity cheerleader for four years, 2 years for Somerset High School in Wisconsin, and 2 for Morenci High School here in Arizona. We recently went to the Arizona State Competition and took 1rst place in the Show Cheer category. I would love to have the opportunity to try out for your squad; therefore if you have any information about tryouts it would be very much appreciated! Thank you for your time!
Sincerely,
Kelsey Boling

I tried to send an email but it bounced back so I figured I'd just post it up.
I am inquiring today to see about a possible spot on your squad. I know that your squad has already begun cheering but I would have no problem putting in the extra hours to "catch up" before being allowed to participate at any games. I starting cheering when I was 5 years old and have been a volunteer coach for the past 9 years with Pop Warner! Cheer is my life which is why I volunteered my time for Pop Warner since I wasn't in school. Although I am not currently enrolled at MCC I am at Rio Salado but I'm not sure if that would count even though they are sister schools so I could switch over if it's needed. I really can't tumble (out of practice) but am willing to work hard to get to the level I am needed to be at and do whatever position you see fit. I am great at multi-tasking and have a "can do" attitude. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to be on your squad, even if it's more of a "understudy" type position. I have outlined my cheer experience below for your convenience.
Specified Cheer Experience ( Years Total):
Cheerleading - 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999
Trainer/Demonstrator - 1999, 2000
Assistant Coach - 2001, 2002
Head Coach - 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008
Assistant Coordinator - 2003
Cheer Coordinator - 2004, 2005, 2008
Regardless, I thank you for your time and I look forward to speaking with you soon!
Best Regards,
Cassandra J. Chester
